posted 06.30.2005 by jeem Some disruption of routine is expected in the next week. Day care for the girls begins Tuesday, July 5th. Kristen goes back to work the same day. I predict tears, crankiness, and indigestion. I imagine the babies will also be affected... Leading up to that is the issue of how to graduate the girls to a post-swaddle lifestyle. Right now when we put them down for naps or nighttime sleep, we swaddle them like little mummies -- a technique suggested by the hospital nurses to secure little baby arms so they don't thrash about. Arm-thrashing babies are not restful, sleepy babies. |
